Boggy Creek Farm is a two-farm operation: five acres of USDA
Certified Organic vegetables, fruit and flowers in central East
Austin, just two miles from downtown, and 45 acres near Gause, Milam
County. Combined acreage under cultivation is nine. Hot weather crops
include tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, potatoes, sweet corn, green
beans, okra, blackberries, figs, pears, zinnias and sunflowers. Cool
weather crops yield lettuces, spinach, greens, peas, turnips, beets,
carrots, strawberries, sweet peas and larkspur. The produce is sold
from the on-farm stand in East Austin, year round, Wednesday and
Saturday, 9-2. Larry's Original Smoke-dried Tomatoes and other
condiments are available seasonally.
